Me and Daddy and Kris went on a huge hike today... 2 hours, 4.5 miles. We had so much fun!! One of the fords across the river was flooded, so we had to cross this big lumpy fallen tree instead, and while we were crossing it, this HUGE beaver went right under us in the water. it was really cool :)

warning: unless you are super committed and map out a plan when you are going to actually post (picking one day a week and the time of the day and how long it takes to open up blogger and type in your username and password and start typing a post complete with pictures and then post everything - yup, that committed) you will only post once every month. maybe. it happens. siiiigh.
:) welcome to the world of blogness.
Sounds and looks like a good time. Being able to see that beaver is like a gift from God. I mean how often do you get to see something like that? Incredible!
Love you,
G'ma

What a great way to kick off the new year! It looks like you had a gorgeous day to do it to. I like the pics.
Kris, wouldn't French fries make you more thirsty?
Great pics Rach, I too really like the one of Kristen on the road. It's got great composition (that's me trying to sound like a photographer).
The park looks like Seneca creek park. I live right near there. :)
I too like the one with Kris on the road. It's got good composition (that's me trying to sound like a photographer, lol):).
Is this Seneca creek park? Cause i live right near there, and it kind of looks like it.
Great pics Rach! :)
nope, it was the woods behind all those fields on 124 in Damascus...the one of K on the road is on Watkins. we hiked in the woods behind Loghouse Road to Watkins and the past Watkins to Huntmaster. so much fun. :D
Yo vader, I wouldn't love that furry branch if I were you. Those little "hairs" are actually little thorns. (trust me, they are very painful)
Oh right! Yeah I know where your talking about, I've hiking there once. It's beautiful. :)
Lol... they probably would - but knowing me I'd probably just take a drink from the creek :D
wow. very pretty pics. i like them. :D
